Playwright/director Rick Robinson explores spirituality and the dark corners of the human mind in School of Jesus Fish.
Dr. Benjamin Hamilton's first patient as a therapist at St. Lucy's psychiatric ward is Ann Fencik, a 33 year old woman who claims she is God's daughter on earth. As Dr. Hamilton seeks to cure her, Ann's presence bagins to have startling effects on the other psychiatric patients.
This production is part of the Edge of the World Theater Festival 2001, a city-wide celebration of the vibrant and diverse Los Angeles theater community.
Rick Robinson's last play, SAP, was featured in last year's Edge of the World Festival and was chosen as a Critic's Pick by Backstage West.
