about this production
When step-sisters Greta and Moo finally meet, it's to decide what to do with their dead parents' decrepit house. Greta wants to sell the house, Moo wants to get to know her sister, but neither wants to face what they find in the long-forbidden basement. When a lethal secret is uncovered and they become trapped in the twisted schemings of their dead parents' love, the women realize they may not make it out of the basement alive.
"Psalms of a Questionable Nature" is written by Chicago playwright Marisa Wegrzyn, and was presented as a reading at the Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago in 2004 (playwright Marisa Wegrzyn is currently under commission to create a new play for Steppenwolf). Lucid by Proxy is proud to present its world premiere professional production.
